From the strobing synth arcs and cosmic-pulse of opener “Cloud Hall” to the narcotic, dubwise-nod of album closer “Travellers Of Faith”,Cruise Forever represents an innovative, exhilarating ride, loaded with twists, turns and trips from the ‘floor to the comedown. Claustrophobic Chi-town melancholy (“The Groove”), hard-Brum-meets-Berghain techno (“The Beast”) and the massive nine-minute vocal rush of “Shut In” are where the dance-floor moments collide: raw, expressive, euphoric moments in the Sun and the Dark.
Then we shift toward stranger more insular climes... A fractured middle-east sampledelia (“Peralta Palace”) lonely walks through the gloaming (“Forest Forever”, “Mountain Ascension”) and soaring climbs into clipped, watery electronics, (“In The Depths...”)
